Understanding Stress and Related Diseases
In this fast-paced life, anyone can feel stress. The kind of lifestyle that most individuals live greatly contributes to his or her stress level.
Yet, what is stress? Why do people feel it?
Stress is a chemical reaction of the body to any situation that may cause a disturbance on an individual’s mental or physical functioning. It can be caused by illnesses, pain, emotional distress, and other external factors, such as loss of a job or a loved one. Yet, one of the greatest factors that cause stress is nutritional deficiency. This leaves the human body to function in a limited capacity causing it to breakdown eventually.
Getting to the root cause of the problem and dealing with it the soonest time possible is the best way that a person should handle stress. Otherwise, it can lead to more serious health risks, such as hypertension, heart diseases, depression, anxiety, and mental disorders among many others.
