Eating the Right Food
A person’s brain generates and stores feelings or emotions. It decides which gland should release which hormones, at what level and what time. The range of emotions that people are capable of is very vast, yet the hormones controlling them are not. There are two primary hormones, which are called eicosanoids and cytokines. These hormones deal with a wide range of emotional situations. A person should eat food that is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, which is usually found in fish oil to help control both hormones. It then gives people the ability to deal with feelings more efficiently. This just proves that what we eat greatly affects a person’s body systems. In fact, it determines how our body and mind operates. This means that if people feel that they are in a depressed state, perhaps adjusting one’s diet will help make them better.
